Ardbeg Day 2026

Ardbeg Day 2026

It’s almost that time of year again. The Ardbeg Day festivities are set to commence once more in just two months. What started as the Ardbeg Distillery open day at the end of Fèis Ìle (The Islay Festival) has evolved into a global annual tradition honouring all things Ardbeg.

This year, come 30th May 2026, we slip on our chic shades and sharp suits, raise the velvet curtain on this year’s exclusive Ardbeg Dolce, and embrace the spirit of La Dolce Vita… Islay-style.

A joy from the first sip to the long and lingering last...

Olive groves meet misty coves, Sicilian film reels meet Islay lobster creels, and sweet Marsala heat meets smoky Ardbeg peat. A sensory masterpiece.

Fragrant aromas of apricot, plump raisins and orange marmalade steal the scene. Notes of zesty lemon rind and roasted nuts dance alongside dried herbs, smouldering applewood and chewy peat oils. Bravo! Bravo!

LA DOLCE VITA

Ardbeg Day will celebrate the shared island life of Islay and Sicily, where community is cherished. Drawing inspiration from the timeless elegance of La Dolce Vita (the sweet life), Ardbeg Day will be transformed into a meeting of the two islands through the lens of iconic 1960s Italian cinema. Picture headscarves, oversized sunglasses, Vespas, town squares, red-and-white tablecloths, outdoor dining, and exclusive screenings — all with a distinctive Ardbeg twist.

ELEVATOR PITCH

Held annually on the final Saturday of The Islay Festival (Fèis Ìle), Ardbeg Day is a global celebration of all things Ardbeg. Celebrated on Islay and around the world, Ardbeg Day has become one of the biggest events in the whisky calendar.

This year, the Atlantic Coast meets the Sicilian Coast as we honour this year’s limited edition – Ardbeg Dolce.

INSPIRATION

Inspired by the golden age of 1960s Italian cinema, Ardbeg Dolce blends Mediterranean charm with Ardbeg’s bold, rugged spirit. Matured in Sicilian Marsala wine casks and classic bourbon barrels, it balances sweet flavours of apricot, marmalade, and dark chocolate with notes of roasted nuts and smoky applewood. Sicilian sweet meets Islay peat.

Dolce will be available at Ardbeg.com.hk on 15th May!
